Welcome to EasyPhotography.Info!

This website aims to demystify the world of digital photography for beginners, as well as for people who want to learn how to get more out of their camera. It goes over all the factors you should take into consideration when choosing what digital camera to buy, and when using the digital camera you've got.

This website explains all the vocabulary and relevant concepts of digital photography in simple, illustrated, straightforward, step-by-step ways.

Why should I be considered a reliable source? I have bought at least one new camera every year since 1998 (and they have been digital cameras since 2001), and in that period I went from confused point-and-shoot operator to published semi-professional SLR photographer. But even though I now use an SLR for most of my photography, I still enjoy reading up on (and using) small, convenient, simple fixed-lens digicams.

My experience scrutinizing and editing pictures, and comparing specs in order to pick the best camera, has given me some good insights into what you should look for when selecting a camera, and what you should remember while using a camera in order to get high-quality pictures. So this site is a way for me to share my experiences and insights with you.

In addition, I have lots of teaching experience (as well as lots of tech support experience), and I enjoy trying to explain complicated things in simple ways, and just being helpful in general, so my explanations tend to be pretty good, in my not-so-humble opinion.

This is a fairly simple website. The core of it are four pages:

- Page 1 (which explains the vocabulary of digital photography),
- Page 2 (which will help you choose from the best digital cameras out there, with info about each one), and
- Page 3 (which shows you how to use your camera to take good, high-quality pictures).
- Page 4 (which goes over tips on taking pictures of airplanes, e.g. at airshows).

Enjoy my website. And if you do, feel free to tell your friends :]

Thanks for visiting. Come again!
